Chris Cunningham surprised everybody again by shooting a mesmerizing video for Gucci new scent Flora.
Cunningham is the ultimate WARP Records video maker, he has done such masterpieces as Aphex Twin’s “Come to Daddy” and “Windowlicker”, as well as Madonna’s “Frozen” and Bjork’s “All is Full of Love”. Yes, Chris might not be making hardcore videos, full of beauty bordering with darkness underneath, but he is still very good at what he does.
Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs have Madona as their new face. The new ads, featuring Madonna in a smoky French bistro setting, were photographed by Steven Meisel. The pictures look pretty ok, but far from the charm and quality of Leibovitz “Core Values Campaign”.
Most celebrated designers made a new look for Russian dolls (Matrioshka). All this is in honor of Vogue in Russia anniversary celebrations. The dolls will be sold on a charity auction, which will take place on November 20. Starting price of the 50-centimeter high doll is €5000.
